![[ ]](http://i27.tinypic.com/72zxmr.gif) | Black Forest Easily among the most dangerous places of Lyramion, the Black Forest is inhabited by monsters that range from huge trents that are unnaffected by anything except black magic, to outrageusly fast wolves capable of putting a fight, even against Muramasa himself. The swampy ground will severely hinder your movements, and a poisonous mist will sap your strength if you stay for too long.

![[ ]](http://i27.tinypic.com/72zxmr.gif) | Phantom Castle An ancient castle were an epic battle between the humans and the illusions occurred; the humans won, but suffered gigantic losses. The place was in terrible conditions, and on top of that, rumored to be haunted, so Muramasa bought it at a very low price. The Phantom Castle is now the head quarters of the Black Steel academy. The purple and black flags of the Empire may be seen hanging from just about every wall, and its immaculate, spotless appearance leaves little in common with the ruins this place once was.

![[ ]](http://i27.tinypic.com/72zxmr.gif) | The Fields Extense, lonely fields the more experieced Black Steel student use as training grounds. Despite of the lack of trees, the most absolute darkness broods over the place like a giant bat, and the mist and the graves from the misfortunate warrios who have died here add to the haunting feeling of this field. Countless of Illusions may still be seen dwelling in this area, and a spell casted over the endless sea of wheat makes it extremely easy to get lost.

![[ ]](http://i27.tinypic.com/72zxmr.gif) | Underground Passage In the sewers of Sarady, there's a secret passage that leads to this dark and damp pathway. This is the only path to take in order to get to the Blue Fortress without swimming, but many would prefer swimming all the way down there than having to witstand this terrible smell by a munute. Sarady's sewers are a maze by themselves, but on top of it the creators of the fortress have thrown in some traps to spice things up.

![[ ]](http://i27.tinypic.com/72zxmr.gif) | The Blue Fortress Originally built by illusions, this fortress was attacked and taken over by Flare and his followers. Still, the occasional siren may be spotted running around the hallways and screeching the ear-drilling way they do. In order to maintain the spell that keeps the water outside of the fortress, a magical dance must be performed every night of full moon, or the entire fortress will collapse. This was learned the hard way, and several parts of the fortress can be found on ruins.

![[ ]](http://i27.tinypic.com/72zxmr.gif) | The Silent Bridge A coral bridge connected to the Blue Fortress and built for an unknown purpose. The Blue Lightning students use it to hang out with one another and watch the wonderous view it has of the river, as a powerful spell keeps it envelloped in a bubble of air. The water is at a reach-able distance, but it would be foolish to try and swim in the waters nearby this bridge, for giant lantern-fishes called the Silent Lights just love to lurk around here.

![[ ]](http://i27.tinypic.com/72zxmr.gif) | Canyon of the Midnight Sun The name comes from the thousand of dragons that used to live here, litting up the skies with their fiery breath. Most of these dragons have been vanquished, but still this is not the kind of place to wander about alone. The red earth of this canyon is home to many underground monsters, like giant worms or insects, who will see any adventurer as a nifty addition to their everyday menus.

![[ ]](http://i27.tinypic.com/72zxmr.gif) | White Palace The headquarters of the eager and willing-to-help Amber Shield students. It is a large, white palace with a golden teardop-shaped ceiling and a couple towers to watch over the desert surrounding them. This palace had been in Masamune's family for generations, but now everyone is welcome to stay at the castle... If they manage to find it, that is. The solid white walls serve to protect the students from both the monsters, and the merciless sand storms.

![[ ]](http://i27.tinypic.com/72zxmr.gif) | Gil Desert A vast extension of suffocating desert. The best way to cross it is on a horse, and never stopping to move, for fiendish monsters called Sand Eaters will latch at your heels and drag you to your tomb beneath the sand if you stay on the same place for long. Huge worm-like creatures may accompany you during your travels, but don't be fooled by their seemingly harmless appearance! They're vicious monsters, large enough to swallow you and your horse whole, and willing to try!

![[ ]](http://i27.tinypic.com/72zxmr.gif) | Town of Sarady A beaten dirt road leads to the bustling city of Sarady. The massive walls and the solid oak door have protected this village from the attack of every monster, but as they continue to grow worse with every moment that passes, well, nobody knows... The once merry town is now shrouded with a mist of uncertainty, and hate towards the illusions. The occasional horse pulling of the occasional cart may be seen, but certainly merchants aren't nearly as common as they were before.

![[ ]](http://i27.tinypic.com/72zxmr.gif) | Circle of Stone A misterious stone circle located on a small forest at the west of Sarady. There's an eerie, and utterly dangerous feeling to this place, and it feels as if something is ever watching you. Illusions used to come here to make offerings to their king, but they were all wiped out by the valiant knights of Masamune. Still, legends are that people comes to this place and never return.
